Welcome!
Welcome to Dimensional Death, a Final Fantasy XIV Free Company that is currently on Excalibur.
Our Free Company is based around the spirit of cooperation. If you are friendly, helpful, responsible, committed, and able to take a joke or two, you are quite welcomed to join us! We are still searching for raiders, as well as casual players and crafters. Part of the fun is getting better, improving your levels or equipment, and sometimes you need the extra help to do that. That is what Dimensional Death stands for. United, friendly, helpful.
If you are interested in joining us contact any of the officers in-game(Ayasu Lemieux, Celedh Knight, Haldis Omholt, Slvr Stryker, Taber Tia or Laude Valiquette). If you're interested in raiding with us, please use the Raiding Application link on the right side bar.
Even if you are not interested in raiding, we still like having friendly people, crafters for the housing, or just people to chat with during the slower moments.

We're back!
The Unoriginal Comic: Hello, former comic readers!
Hey there, Ayasu! (Ayasu)
Ayasu here. :)
You're receiving this email because you were signed up for the forums for The Unoriginal Comic -- http://theunoriginalcomic.overminddl1.com/forum/index.php . If you're a former SNTA/Dimensional Death/Mercenary Legends Linkshell Member(Final Fantasy XI), please still feel free to read on!
I'm aware that this may hit a lot of dead in-boxes, and I'm not really a huge fan of doing big mass emails like this, but I did want to reach out to all of the past readers of the comic. As you may or may not remember, this comic ran from the early to mid 2000's and, due to personal reasons, both of the Authors of the comic had to, very sadly, let the comic stop updating in 2007.
If some of you may also remember, Cyber name changed to Ayasu in mid-2006 -- so hi! That's me. :) I go by Ayasu now.
That said, though -- TUC is coming back! Over the last few months, I've been speaking with a friend of mine, Celedh, who will be taking over for Tunod. This will be posted on the website as well, but I did want to let you guys know first about some changes to the cast when it comes to the "Author" characters. Tunod is still going to be in the comic -- he and I are still good friends, and TUC was originally his, so it would be wrong to remove him. Celedh will, of course, be getting his own Author character. There will be some other changes as well, but, well... spoilers! I won't say any more than what I have. :)
I know it's been a long time (nearly 10 years! Wow...) since the comic was updated regularly, and believe me, I wish things could have been different back then -- neither of us really *wanted* to stop doing the comic. But, as we've prolly all learned by now... life happens. :/ I sincerely hope all of you have been doing well over the years, and decide to come check out the comic again! Cel and I will be doing our best to revive TUC in those "post-Sprite-Comic" era of the internet.
The biggest major change for the comic is that I won't be able to do animations until I can afford to license Flash again -- I don't want to "acquire" the software, I want a legitimate, new copy of it. This isn't a decision I'm making on a whim, I just want to make sure the software used to create content is legitimate. :) I know #400 is technically right around the corner, but for now I feel we should focus on making comics again, before making movies.
We're also going to be looking into updating the forums software. If you've been to the comic anytime... ever... you'll notice that the website's a bit dated -- it *looks* like a relic from the early/mid-2000's! Overmind doesn't have as much free time as he used to(who does, really?), but he's going to be helping get things up to date. We're going to do our best to make sure that the forums, and the comic, get updated. :)
| Oh! Speaking of updates -- you guys probably wanna know when the comic will be updated, right? Well... Celedh and I discussed this, and starting THIS MONDAY(January 11th, 2016) we decided that, the best schedule, at current, would be a Monday/Friday schedule. The reason for this is because we can work on a comic over the weekend, and then we have 3 days to deliver on another comic for Friday -- this gives ample opportunity for us to push out content in a timely manner so we can adhere to an update schedule. Once we get back into the swing of things, we'll think about adding Wednesday back to the update rotation. So, for now, Monday/Friday. Starting this Monday! :) |
Oh! Before I forget -- I've started a Patreon for the comic as well -- if you want to support the comic, even as much as a dollar pledge every month will help out. :) I know I'd asked for Paypal donations in the past(and that's still an option, too!), but Patreon is an amazing platform for content creators to gather support.

All in all, I want to thank you guys for your support over the years. I still regularly checked the forums, in hopes that there would be the odd post or two. And there were from a few, but I don't blame people for not visiting a comic they considered dead. *I* never even thought I would update again! But here we are - already got a backlog of comics for you all, a locked in update schedule, a new co-author and high hopes for the future of TUC.
If anyone has any questions about anything pertaining to me, Celedh or the comic, I urge you to email me at ayasulemieux@gmail.com -- that should be where this email is coming from -- and ask away. :) You guys know I loved interacting with all of you, and I look forward to seeing you all on the forums again! Oh right! If you cannot access your old forum account(can't reset your password for whatever reason), please email me and let me know, as well. I wanna make sure everyone is able to access their old accounts, should they want to!
