Rules changes and clarifications (11/16/2012)

(1/3) > >>

Ayasu:
Starting this month, Rules threads will be required to be "Signed" by members of the guild again, so that the leadership knows that you've read and understood the changes made to the rules. These rules are in place to ensure a fair play environment for everyone in the guild and are all put in place for a myriad of reasons. If you ever have a question about why a certain rule is in place, please feel free to ask! We're always open to suggestions on how to further improve our rules to make sure that Dimensional Death is a fair and fun guild to be a part of.

The Guild Rules (http://ddeath.overminddl1.com/ddwiki/Rules) page has been updated with the following changes(wording changes noted in red):

-25-man raiding loot rules have been removed(guild has collapsed to 10-man for the foreseeable future). If
25-man becomes a possibility, this will be re-visited.

Attendance Rules
- If a member is gone or inactive for more than two months without informing the guild, then they will be reset to Scootaloo. (Previously Initiate)

Ranks
- Core Raider rank removed - As we're adjusting to have multiple raid teams, the "Core Raider" rank has been removed. (This change actually took place before MoP dropped, but has just recently been reflected in the rules)
- Raid Leader Rank added - Raid Leader -- This rank is specifically for those designated as raid leaders by the officers. They have some of the permissions of an officer concerning the guild bank.
- Raider Rank reworked -- Raider -- Any other character that raids. This will NOT include alts. No access to the raid bank. Standard repair fees accessible from the guild bank. Raiders will be required to have gone through a minimum 6-raid-night trial period(normally 2
weeks from the time they start raiding with the guild). Members on Raider status may request Gems and Enchants from the guild.
- Recruit rank renamed Initiate - Initiate -- Any new member of the guild with intention to raid who is in their application trial period. In order to be promoted to Initiate, you must sign up to the forums and submit an application via the Application form linked on the front page of the forums. Initiates will have reduced repair fees accessible from the guild bank, but very limited guild bank access.
- Alts rank added - *Alts -- Specific rank for alt characters. Main character MUST be declared in Guild Note before your character is promoted from Scootaloo.
- Previous Initiate rank(once known as Adopted) has been renamed to Scootaloo.

Guild Bank
-Updated the tabs for new uses:
--Tab 3(Panderia Herbs,
previously Consumables) -- Is what it sounds like. This tab is for herbs used to make flasks.
--Tab 4(FoodMatsNFeasts, previously NoAuth) -- This tab holds cooking materials and feasts for raiding. Raiders and above have access to this tab(2 stacks/day)
--Tab 6(TEH FOODZ, previously Cataclysm Herbs) -- This tab holds individual stat foods(only the highest two tiers of foods, excluding Hit/Expertise food)
--Tab 7(Misc, previously Legacy Crafting) -- This tab is used for really, anything else. Mostly legacy crafting mats.

-Updated Guild Bank rules
-- Raiding members will have access to 150G worth of repairs a day(100 for initiates). Please do not use this unless you've been running dungeons and raids with other guild members. This will be boosted to 250 on Raid Nights only(Including Initiates).
--**NEW RULE** Please note that once you deposit items into the bank, they are considered Guild property. The bank
is not your personal storage space.

As mentioned above, please post a reply to this thread to note that you've read and understand these notes.

If you have any questions, please contact myself, or any other leader(Laude, Ox) in-game with your questions.
