Title: Dimensional Death and the Seekers of Adoulin
Post by: Ayasu on April 01, 2013, 09:03:27 AM
EDIT: Happy April Fool's. :3

Hey all!

So, just a quick update and announcement for the direction Dimensional Death will be taking.

As some of you know, the new FFXI expansion, Seekers of Adoulin, launched last week, adding a new end-game and 2 new job classes. After much discussion with the other officers and leadership in the DD community, we've decided that the best course of action will be to close up shop on WoW and head back to our roots in FFXI!

This may come as exciting news to some of you, who I know have been missing the game dearly -- we'll be heading back to Phoenix server and rebooting the Linkshell there. Recruitment will go into full swing at the end of the week.

That said, we'll be updating the Guild Rules to reflect the changes we're
making, and will be reverting back to a DKP system, as we did before. The Rules updates will be posted later today, but if you'd like to re-familiarize yourself with our old, pre-WoW ruleset, check the Wiki page here: http://ddeath.overminddl1.com/ddwiki/FFXIDDRules

I hope to see every member of Dimensional Death, both old and new, follow us back to our origins and help rocket Dimensional Death back to being one of the best Linkshells on Phoenix. :D

Note for new members who plan on creating accounts -- some of our veteran members will assist in getting you guys leveled, and getting your subjobs and advanced jobs unlocked. There're 22 classes in the game filling 4 roles, and we'll need tanks and Black Mages!

So the $55 paid to transfer in WoW was for nothing?

Edit: Then I saw the date..... good one.
